This is the introductory course to Ashiatsu Barefoot Bar Therapy. Therapists will have lots of “feet on” time in this 3-day comprehensive class. Barefoot Curriculum includes prone and supine, seated and standing Ashiatsu Techniques. Our methodology is western focused and includes cross-fiber friction, effleurage, petrissage, compression as well as some trigger point and myofascial techniques.The emphasis during this course will be on body mechanics, barefoot application, contraindications, certification, and bar construction. Therapists will gain enough knowledge and confidence to offer up to a 90-minute full body Ashiatsu treatment.

A non-refundable deposit of $325 is required to hold your spot. Once you complete the registration process a confirmation email will be sent to you. The remaining tuition balance will be due to your instructor two weeks prior to class.Upon completion of this course, you will receive 25 CE hours. To become certified in Ashiastu DeepFeet Bar Therapy students are required to perform a practical on day three of class, complete an online quiz and submit 20 documented practice sessions.

This dynamic two-day advanced course covers one-footed transitional strokes and two-footed techniques. It is designed for graduates of Deepfeet 1 Basics who have gained some clinical experience and are ready to elevate their barefoot skill set. Participants should possess upper arm and core strength, balance, and coordination to perform comfortable two-footed movements with their training partner.

The theory and lectures will focus on specific back conditions while techniques for identifying and qualifying clients for this treatment will be discussed. By the end of this two-day course, you will have learned advanced concepts on using two feet to spread and elongate chronically shortened muscle tissue, along with various new barefoot strokes to enhance your Ashiatsu treatments. You will master integrating science, movement, healing, and rhythm into a seamless, flowing, barefoot practice. This course level serves as a crucial element of our advanced training program.

The DeepFeet 3 Sports™ curriculum uses barefoot techniques to enhance clients' posture, range of motion, and muscle responsiveness. This practice comprises a set of unique and proprietary foundational and structural methods, which we refer to as the "3 Connects. Involving compression, muscle stripping, and activation.

These three techniques work together to create an effective muscle release method, benefiting clients who experience pain and limited range of motion due to repetitive stress injuries, workout-related soreness, and past traumas or sports injuries resulting in scar tissue formation.

During the application, clients are assisted through multi-positioning to locate the anterior, lateral, medial, and sagittal muscles concerning surrounding structures and landmarks. Upon completing the training, students will gain the confidence and knowledge necessary to perform a 90-120 minute Ashiatsu session that includes posterior, anterior, and side-lying barefoot sports massage techniques.
