Sauna, Massage, & Wellness Classes
From micro to macro, everything we do influences our health. That’s why Sole Purpose Massage offers more than just massage. We want our clients to feel better and to embrace wellness and self-care beyond the time spent in our studio. That’s why we’ve expanded our offerings to include an infrared sauna, and a deeply restorative self-care class known as Deep Chill.
At Sole Purpose Massage, barefoot massage is our passion and what we do best. We believe in being present for each client, listening to the body, understanding the elements involved, and allowing the body the time it needs to let go. We approach our work with enthusiasm, openness and the desire to help each client feel his or her best. We are passionate about our profession and about helping clients improve their health and well-being.
Massage techniques and modalities that we utilize include the unique barefoot techniques of Ashiatsu Massage, SARGA bodywork, neuromuscular therapy, and myofascial release, blended with flowing strokes and a deep tissue focus. We also utilize Thai massage and stretching, massage cupping. and gua sha scraping as needed during massages.
60-Minute Session - $80 90-Minute Session - $120 2 Hour Session - $160
Additional treatment options include hot stones, massage cupping and gua sha, provided by request or on an as-needed basis.
Massage cupping, the use of glass or silicone cups, held by suction, to massage the body, can be added into almost any massage or bodywork session. The action on the nervous system is sedating, and clients will often experience a deep state of relaxation. Gua sha is an East Asian healing technique. Gua means to scrape or rub. Sha is the reddish petechiae raised by the friction of the strokes. Gua Sha can be used whenever a patient has pain, aching, tenderness and/or a knotty feeling in the muscles.
Try our infrared sauna before your massage!
There’s nothing quite like a 20-minute sweat session in a sauna. Start your massage with a sauna to get your muscles warm and pliable for the deep work to follow. End your session feeling even more relaxed and rested after you’re done. What’s not to love?
