I see Karyn about every two weeks. Being chronologically challenged and physically active, I always have some problem area in need of attention. With regular care Karyn keeps my aches and pains at bay so I can continue to live life to its fullest enjoying my active lifestyle. She recently prepared a cayenne salve for arthritic joints in my hands...really above and beyond the call. But that’s what she’s all about. Thanks Karyn!

Massage is a non-verbal conversation with the body and each body speaks its own language. We begin each session with observation, analysis and listening. We believe in being present for each client, listening to the body, understanding the elements involved, and allowing the body the time it needs to let go. We approach our work with enthusiasm, openness and the desire to help each client feel his or her best. We are passionate about our profession and about helping clients improve their health and well-being.

Massage techniques and modalities that we utilize include: Swedish massage, deep tissue, Thai massage and stretching, the unique barefoot techniques of Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and massage cupping. We are experienced in scar tissue rehabilitation, treating sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, and chronic neck and back pain. Through massage, we strive to promote relaxation, recovery and rejuvenation from head to toe.

60-Minute Session - $80     90-Minute Session - $110     2 Hour Session - $150

Additional treatment options include massage cupping and gua sha, provided by request or on an as-needed basis.

Massage cupping, the use of glass or silicone cups, held by suction, to massage the body, can be added into almost any massage or bodywork session. The action on the nervous system is sedating, and clients will often experience a deep state of relaxation. Gua sha is an East Asian healing technique. Gua means to scrape or rub. Sha is the reddish petechiae raised by the friction of the strokes.  Gua Sha can be used whenever a patient has pain, aching, tenderness and/or a knotty feeling in the muscles.
